Making your MBA research easier - filtered info sent to you

There are many ways of getting infomation and research for your MBA classes, papers and projects.

Google search is just one -- and sometimes frustrating -- too much info to sort through.

Here are other methods that will deliver filtered to you:
More effective than search, however,  is sharing - which you are all familiar with from Facebook.
Information shared by experts is the optimum to accelerate your own knowledge.

How to get expert knowledge shared with you?? 
Follow experts and opinion leaders:
Today  
  1. Using your class Gmail Address, set up an account on Twitter
  2.  Search in Twitter for topics that interests you - example ' hotel marketing'
  3. You will see a list of people or comanies that Tweet on that topic
  4. Click on the icons to read the Tweeter's profile
  5. Click 'Follow' + wait a day then check your Twitter account - see what is being shared
    •  Tip - you can search on Twitter using #   Example #hotelmarketing
Assignment
  • Follow 10 different people on Twitter - you choose the topics + people
  • Wait a day or 2, then take screenshots of your active Twitter acoount
  • Create a PPT using your screenshots
  • Upload your PPT into your Slideshare account 
  • Embed your Slideshare video in your blog - see PPT below for help
