Tools + platforms to accomplish group work + save time
Your MBA program will require group work and team projects. Working together online will save the time and energy of trying to coordinate schedules - which is difficult between classes and internships.
There are numerous online collaboration tools but for this class, we will focus on using Google docs + tools. If you use Google docs to take class notes, your Group work will be even easier.
Assignment
1. Use your class Gmail account, and locate Docs (or Drive) on the upper navigation bar.
2. Create a new presentation, share that presentation with a classmate;
3. Work together to produce a short presentation, using screen shots of your Scoop.it newspaper
4. Be sure to include both of your names on your Doc
5. Go to the File Tab - and pull down the menu. You will see 'Share' - in 'Share' there is a link for the presentation you have just created

6. Post the presentation to your blog, using a text link

7. Post the link to your presentation by the Due Date
Smart Tip
Click on Google Calender (top navigation bar) and enter the Due Dates for your work. You can even set it to notify you in advance.
Assignment Continued
Do a Hangout on Line with 4 or 5 classmates - you need to invite them to a Circle in Google Plus + they have to accept. Each participant needs a webcam to bee seen in the hangout. Have Fun!!!
1. Go to Your Google Plus page - scroll down until you see 'Hangouts' - the yellow logo above
2. Hold your Hangout - take a screenshot of the Hangout in progress
3. Use the Sharescreen - upper right - take a screenshot of the sharescreen in your Hangout
4. Save the 2 screen shots as images and EACH person in the Hangout should post the images in their blog
