Online Help over the weekend + Final Presentation Info

Hello All,

I will be online Saturday 11 AM to 1 PM and again Sunday 10 AM to Noon - for anyone who needs help with any of the assigned platforms.

Be sure to read all the instructions in each section on the class blog AND click on links, for more details - after that, if you still have problems, I'll be happy to help.

Final Presentation - requirements

Group A Due Date = 16/01/2013

Group B Due Date = 24/01/2013

Platform to use:

Jing (link) - Screencast Presentation

•  Use Jing to create a 'video' from your screenshots
• Minimum of 10 pages + front and back cover
• Text and images (not just a picture book)
• Minimum of 2 text links to external sites
• Bonus Points for:
• Use of Audio

Topics

•  You may use the materials that you are preparing for a different class
• If not, you may wish to create a presentation brochure for the hotel of your choice

Due Date

• Jing Presentation can be uploaded in Slideshare,  then embed in your blog by the due date 
• Attention - do not leave this until the night before the due date - your will be VERY frustrated if you run into probelms

• Be sure to complete all the asiigned work in each section, as well.

Getting caught up !!

Today let's take a look at your blogs and make sure you are comfortable with all the tech requirements:

• Text Links
• Upload an image
• Embed a video, Slideshare or presentation
• Create a new page
• Stream your Twitter feed in your blog via 'Add a Gadget'
• Add links to your blog
• Create a poll
• Some additional designs to upgrade your blog look

Also, please go to Smarterer and take one of the skills test (you choose).

Your final presentation should be uploaded in your blog 16/01 - for extra points, you may use Jing and add audio!!

Presentations - Due Date Changed for MBA 1 A

It seems there not everyone is yet comfortable with doing online work. Some of MBA 1 are doing great - bravo. 

So that those class members still getting used to the online classroom can catch up, I have changed the 'Presentation' upload date to 18/12. Together - we will look at ALL  the Prezi presentations in class on 19/12 - when we meet in person.

I am happy to help but just like Facebook, you need to try apps + platforms yourself --FIRST.

Session 4 - Collaborate Now Online

This session should be fun!  

Do a shared presentation with one classmate.  Do a Hangout Online with 4 or 5 classmates.

Be creative!

Session 3 Curate - Now Online

My apologies for a delay in posting.  The Curate Session is now online + the due date changed to give you ample time to complete the assignment.

The Collaboration session will be posted 01/12.  You will do a Hangout Online - so select 4 or 5 classmates + invite them to a Google Plus circle - you will need that to do a Hangout.

Having Problems ? - I will be at CMH 29/11 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM to help you, if needed.

5. Make changes to your profile, blogger, photo - as you like
